Mini Biography

Amitabh  bachchan was born on 11 October  1942 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.  His father Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a poet. And his mother, Teji Bachchan, was a Sikh from Faisalabad. He has a Brother named Ajitabh.He completed his education from Uttar Pradesh and moved to Bombay to find work as a film star. His first job was in Shaw Wallace .Amitabh later worked as a fight broker for a shipping firm called Bird and co.,in Kolkata, a job he quit to pursue a career in  acting.

                                                              

In 1969, Amitabh made his dedut with Saat Hindustani, which won him the Film fair award  for Best Newcomer.It wasn’t long before his star began to rise, appearing in a seemingly endless stream of blockbusters that included Zanjeer, Deewar, Sholay and Amar, Akbar, Anthony. During this streak he was dubbed a One-Man Industry by the press.
