Ranbir Kapoor was born on  28 September  1982 in Mumbai,Maharashtra,India. Kapoor is from a Family of  Panjabi origin, the son of actor Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh; his sister  is Riddhima Kapoor. As a child, Kapoor studied at Bombay  Scottish school in Mumbai and went on to pursue method acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute  in New York.Ranbir started her film career by Saawariya in 2007.
